He gave an interview and told us what his internship at Somfy Niepołomice looks like.
How has your adventure at Somfy Niepołomice started❓
👨🦱”As I was in my fourth year of engineering school in France, I had to do some work experience abroad to validate my degree. My company tutor suggested that I do my placement at SOPEM. Following my contact with R&D Manager, I joined one of his teams as a support engineer, which enabled me to acquire new skills and work in an international context.”
What does your daily routine look like and what are your responsibilities❓
👨🦱”I usually start my day by looking at the schedule to see what new tasks have been assigned to me. Then, at a daily team meeting, the manager updates us on the progress of the various projects and gives us new instructions. And that’s when the day’s work really begins. During this placement, my responsibilities included regularly updating files and online databases, as well as designing and leading workshops.”
What do you like most about Somfy Niepołomice❓
👨🦱”The working atmosphere was relaxed, which enabled me to complete my assignments on time. I also had the opportunity to work with all the site teams.”

How do you spend your free time after work❓
👨🦱”To make the most of my experience in Krakow, I opted for a student residence in the city center. I spent my free time exploring the streets of Krakow, taking part in a variety of activities and tasting the local specialties that Poland has to offer.”
